Final project

Moving from a small Arab village to Tel-Aviv presented me with a series of profound questions and challenges, particularly regarding my identity and how others perceive me.

My project, 'אפשר לחשוב' ('One Might Think'), explores my personal and emotional journey in Israeli society, focusing on subtle discrimination known as 'microaggressions.' These are small, often hidden moments of mistreatment tied to who I am. The project sheds light on how Palestinians frequently experience discrimination, even from those closest to them. Through poems and performances, I share my everyday struggles as a human being, aiming to let myself feel and raise empathy. It's about my quest for honesty rather than blaming or teaching others.
